Quartz
Engineered Quartz is combined with high purity acid, washed Quartz crystals (approx 93%), high quality Polymer material (approx 7%) and a small amount of inorganic pigment.  All of which is then processed under high pressure vacuum conditions, ground and polished to create a fixed thickness.  The 93% quartz crystals ensures its hard and compact structure. 


Quartz is known for these characteristics:
  • Resistant to penetration and stain (meaning there is no maintenance needed!!)
  • Consistent color (no major imperfections as granite)
  • Resistant to compression and breaking (Quartz is one of the strongest known materials on the planet, and this countertop is composed of 93% of this)
  • Resistant to abrasion and scratching (only slightly less strength as a diamond)
  • Resistant to high temperature and distortion (melting point of over 572 degrees, which eliminates potential cracking and burn spots.
  • Environmentally Safe! (no heavy or hazardous materials)

Pre-Fabricated Quartz

Pre-Fabricated Quarts Slabs measure between 8' - 10' x 25.5" with a 6" Backsplash included.  Some colors also have matching island pieces available which measure between 8' - 10' x 36" in width.   Please check stock to confirm availability of pre-fabricated slab.
